Our Approach
At Tendo Uganda Mission, our approach is rooted in a holistic and community-centric philosophy. We believe that true empowerment comes from addressing various aspects of an individual’s life and fostering a supportive environment. Our approach is three-fold:
Education
We provide equitable access to quality education, ensuring children and youth have the tools to succeed academically and beyond. Through sponsorship schemes and support, we break down barriers to education.
Empowerment
Empowered children and youths guarantee a better future for any community and country at large. We raise awareness about their rights, facilitate access to education and healthcare, and empower them to become job creators and advocates for their rights.
Healthcare
Ensuring access to physical, mental, and emotional support is a fundamental part of our mission. Our youth-friendly health promotion and protection centers have reduced teenage pregnancies and the prevalence of STDs among the youth. Additionally, we offer counseling and rehabilitation for victims of various forms of violence, creating a safe space for recovery and healing.
